Slurry Method Excavation
Taylor Ridge Drilled Foundations, Inc. uses slurry method excavation on our drilling projects.
Slurry method excavation is a productive and economical alternative to temporary steel casing. It is especially efficient in large diameter shafts when used with heaving soils, sandy soils, or soils with high water tables.
This method can be used with mineral based products, such as bentonite, or polymer based products.
Taylor Ridge prefers polymer-based products because they are recyclable, biodegradable, non-toxic, and do not take away from the skin friction of drilled shafts.
